CBD is frequently used as a post-workout recovery solution, and it’s great for that purpose. That having been said, it’s important to understand how CBD works, what it does, and what CBD is actually capable of. 


CBD may support your body following a minor athletic injury, but it isn’t a replacement for sports medicine or medical care.

What Is CBD?

Stay Hydrated

Water accounts for over 75% of your total muscle mass. Your muscles won’t be able to heal if you aren’t properly hydrated. Men need about 3.7 liters of water a day, and women need about 2.7 liters of water per day. 


You don’t necessarily need to drink your full daily requirement as plain water. Water from fruits like watermelon, greens like spinach, a bowl of soup, or a cup of coffee still counts as water. Almost all drinks are water based and will help you meet your hydration goals. 


Just be mindful of added sugars when selecting something to sip.
